2007 Red Poppy Festival- Georgetown, Texas
April 28, 2007 - April 29, 2007

The Texas Legislature named Georgetown, Tx the Red Poppy Capital of Texas. The festival will be held the last weekend in April in 2007. A big event for the whole family. Every year many thousands visit Georgetown to feast their eyes on the blooms. There will be music, a car show and many other events, all on the square in downtown Georgetown. Frontier Days- Round Rock, Texas
July 4, 2007

A parade of cowboys, cowgirls and horses will wind along Main Street in downtown Round Rock, Tx a festival and several re-enactments of the Sam Bass shootout are all part of the celebration each year. Hundreds join in for the fitness walk and there is always great food and a pepper eating contest. Another great whole-family event! Each year is finished off with free watermelon, fighter planes zooming in and a huge fireworks display accompanied by the symphonic orchestra to celebrate the Nations' birthday. And don't forget that Round Rock is the home of the Round Rock Express baseball team at the Dell Diamond. Each season brings a host of big events.

Hutto Olde Tyme Days - Hutto, Texas

Every year on the third Saturday of October, the city of Hutto, Tx celebrates it's heritage by having a big festival with such events as a little Miss and Mister contest, an antique car show and lots of live music. It usually draws more than 12,000 people to the city of Hutto. There is something for each member of the family.
